TEMPO TAEKWON DO UNITED.

TEMPO TAEKWON DO UNITED.

Many tkdsource instructors are enjoying performing Tempo patterns.  Tempo is an audio training CD - which aids pattern practice and gives a new challenge to patterns training.

The timing is synchronised by a percussion sound signalling the start and building up during the movement, a drum beat signals the completion.

General Choi both taught and indentified in his 15 volume encyclopaedia, the precise movements where a change of pace is required: Slow, Fast, Continuous, Connecting and Consecutive etc etc.  In Tempo these movements each have their own unique sound / beat.

The Martial arts business is very competitive and, with the present worldwide recession, new students are becoming harder to find.  We need to hold onto our current students for as long as possible. Tempo is a great tool in your training toolbox that will help your student retention. Tempo training brings variety, achievement, fun, and a sense of belonging as the whole class unites and moves together as one.

You, like me and many other tkdsource instructors, will discover the motivational effects that Tempo has on class pattern practice.
