Education is very important. In my life, I have found that my ITF studies, training and degrees have had a great impact on my life, almost as important as my scholastic education. Maybe more, I had a police officer tell me if I wasn't training in Taekwon-Do when a car struck my vehicle head on at 45 mph, I wouldn't have survived. I take Taekwon-Do very seriously and will for the rest of my life as it is my lifestyle.

I began ITF Taekwon-Do on March 3rd 1977 at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado (USA). As of March 3rd, 2010, I will have breathed, lived and studied ITF Taekwon-Do for 33 years.

The day I started Taekwon-Do at CU Taekwon-Do, Boulder Colorado (USA). My first seminar with General Choi Hong Hi and him correcting my technique. Dining with General Choi. My PKA (Pro Karate Association) fight as undercard fight with Bill "Superfoot" Wallace. Achieving my ITF III Dan after recovering from a near fatal accident. Meeting Master Choi Jung Hwa and other Masters at the ITF America meeting, Albuquerque, NM (USA).
